Winter Wrestling
The Mentor Youth Wrestling Club is open to children in Grades K - 6th, residing in Mentor and neighboring communities. Weight classes are between 45 and 175 pounds. All wrestlers must provide a copy of their birth certificate during registration for proof of age.
This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, complete waivers, and submit payment.

Kindergarten - Sixth Grade
Season
Winter months between Nov and Feb.
Where
Practices are typically held at Mentor High School in the Aux gym. But we also have dedicated space at Ohio Sports Complex in Willoughby.
Practices
2-3 times per week in the evenings
Beginners: Mon & Wed
Veterans: Mon, Tues, & Thursdays
League Meets
League meets are on Sunday mornings; you can typically expect to be there from 8 am to noon.
*Locations vary-some travel required (Madison, Chardon, South, Riverside & Cardinal)

- Singlet (approx $75 purchased through our Rudis team store in Oct)
- Wrestling shoes (no street shoes)

Registration is $150 per wrestler. If you are registering more than one child in your family, please use the following discount code:

Child 1 is $150 - no code used
Child 2 is $125 - use SIBLING25 for $25 off

Volunteer responsibility
We have a few opportunities throughout the season for which we need volunteers.
We will host 2 league duals (Dec & Jan) and a Fundraiser (Nov). Families are required to commit to 10 hrs of service between the 3 events. If you are unable to commit to volunteer hours for any reason there is a buy-out option, but in person support is preferred.
Note:if registering multiple children only one buyout is required per family.
When registering choose buyout on child 1 & volunteer on child 2+ to avoid overcharging.
