Winter Wrestling

The Mentor Youth Wrestling Club is open to children in Grades K - 6th, residing in Mentor and neighboring communities. Weight classes are between 45 and 175 pounds. All wrestlers must provide a copy of their birth certificate during registration for proof of age.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, complete waivers, and submit payment.

Registration is $150 per wrestler. If you are registering more than one child in your family, please use the following discount code:

Example:

Child 1 is $150 - no code used

Child 2 is $125 - use SIBLING25 for $25 off

Child 3 is $125 - use SIBLING25 for another $25 off

We have a few opportunities throughout the season for which we need volunteers.

We will host 2 league duals (Dec & Jan) and a Fundraiser (Nov). Families are required to commit to 10 hrs of service between the 3 events. If you are unable to commit to volunteer hours for any reason there is a buy-out option, but in person support is preferred.

If registering more than one child only one buyout is necessary per family.

When registering chose buyout on child 1 and for child 2+ choose volunteering to avoid overcharging.

What Do I Need for Practice?

• Wrestling Shoes (Can be purchased at Dicks Sporting Goods, Amazon, other retailers, the club has limited pairs to borrow)

• Headgear (If competing only -club also has some to borrow)

• Athletic Shirts and Shorts

• Mouthguard if you have braces

• Water bottle
